28 February 1942,  Prague

1953 Private lessons on trombone, preparation for study at the Conservatory
1957-63 Study at the Conservatory in Prague - tuba, double bass, later trombone. Drawings in the school magazine "Voice of the conservatory". First doubts about future career as a musician. Systematic drawing without professional guidance.
1963-65 Military service in the Milovice barracks band. First trombone, double bass, singing. beginnings of lifelong friendship with Jiri Serych.
1965 Unsuccessful entrance exams for Academy of Fine Arts, teacher of music in the People's School of Music. Intensive course of drawing. Marriage to Zdena Cejkova.
1966 Unsuccessful exams for Academy of Fine Arts, courses in drawing at the People's Academy of Art.
1967 Unsuccessful entrance exams for University of Applied Arts
1968 Unsuccessful entrance exams for University of Applied Arts, consultations with Professor Jan Spurny. After an appeal accepted as extraordinary student in the painting studio of Professor Zdenek Sklenar. First attempts at graphics.
1970 Transfer to studio of illustration and posters, which Professor Z. Sklenar took over after the death of Professor Jiri Trnka. Marked influence of special assistant Jiri Anderle. Interest in poetry and music as motivation of artistic activity. Birth of son Dalibor.
1974 Completion of studies with diploma work "Six poems on Love".
1975 First independent exhibition in the Borkowski Gallery (Hanover). Beginning of co-operation with Art Centrum a Lyra Pragensis.
1976 Efforts at perfection of craft, fascination with old engravings.
1982 Automatic drawing, water colours, attempts at relaxation of form and content.
1983 The circle "Theatre" - influencing of graphic technique by aquarelle.
1986 Etching, aquatint and combined technique.
1992 Poitiers (France), study stay with international participation. Interest in transpersonal psychology a holotropic breathing.
1993, 94 Study stay in the graphic center of Kasterlee (Belgium).
1995 Leading of a course in graphics in the Epreuve Artiste gallery in Antwerp.
1998 Participation in the International Painting Pleinaire in Pardubice (CZ).
