If I was asked to give a complex characterisation of the work of Jan Exnar by means of a geometric expression, I would probably use the form of a semi-circle. The edge points of the defined horizontal would be marked by the words glass, object and painting and the arch stretching over them by the word window - pane. The ever - present combination of these three dominant spheres within an enclosed shape is a distinct feature of Exnar īs artistic work. The inner space of these abstract semi-circle would then contain the word glass in two forms; glass as a base for painting and glass as a bearer of inner message.
