Born on October 27th, 1950 in Znojmo.
Brunclík graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in 1974. From 1974 to 1980 he studied film direction and screenwriting at the Department of Documentary Film at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), and undertook a year of postgraduate study at the Faculty of Photography. After graduating he worked as a contractor for Czechoslovak TV. Since 1981 he has been working as a freelance photographer. From 1985 to 1992 he worked mainly abroad (in Austria and Italy) and focused on advertising.
During this period he created the visuals for a number of audiovisual programmes: Palace in kielce, Poland, 1985; Machines for the 20th Century, Austria, Czechoslovakia 1985; Museum of Henryk Sinkiewicz, Poland 1988; Warsaw Castle, Poland 1988; and others.
Recently he has been focusing on his own projects.
